How do I register?
The easiest way is our online form: done in a few minutes, no paperwork needed. Alternatively you can call us or drop by the driving school in Traunstein.
Which licence classes do you offer?
We train classes AM, A1, A2, A (motorcycle) as well as B, B197, BF17 and BE (car). You will find all details on the licence classes page.
When do theory courses take place?
You have three paths: block courses starting every two months, ongoing weekly lessons several times a week with flexible entry, and holiday intensive courses that cover the complete theory in one week. All dates are on the course dates page.
Can I get my licence at 17?
Yes, with accompanied driving (BF17) you can obtain class B at 17. Until your 18th birthday you drive with a registered accompanying adult and gain valuable experience.
What is class B197?
With B197 you train mostly on an automatic car without your licence being restricted to automatics. After passing the exam you may drive manual cars as well.
At what age can I get a motorcycle licence?
Class AM from 15, A1 from 16, A2 from 18, and the unrestricted class A from 24 as direct entry, or from 20 after two years of holding A2.
What documents do I need to register?
For the licence application you usually need an eye test, a first-aid course certificate, a biometric photo and your ID card. We support you through every step of the application.
How long does the training take?
It depends on the licence class and your pace. With a holiday intensive course you finish the theory in one week; including driving lessons and the exam, expect a few weeks to a few months depending on your rhythm.
How much does the licence cost?
The cost depends on the licence class and the number of driving lessons you need. Contact us and we will gladly give you personal, transparent advice on all prices.
How does the theory exam work?
After completing the theory lessons you take the exam on a computer at an approved test centre. Our digital learning tools prepare you for all exam questions.
Can I switch between course formats?
Yes. The weekly theory lessons have flexible entry, and you can adapt your rhythm to your daily life at any time. Just talk to us and we will find the right path for you.
Where do the lessons take place?
Theory lessons take place at our driving school in Traunstein. You will find the address, a map and opening hours on the contact page.
How many theory lessons do I need for class B?
For a first class B licence, 12 double lessons of basic material and 2 double lessons of class-specific material are required, 14 double lessons of theory in total.
How many driving lessons do I need?
The number of practice lessons is not fixed by law and depends on your skills. Mandatory are 12 special drives: 5 cross-country, 4 motorway and 3 night drives. Your instructor assesses together with you when you are ready for the exam.
When can I register at the earliest?
You can register with us at any time. The licence application is usually submitted about six months before you reach the minimum age, so you can start your exams on time.
How long is a passed theory exam valid?
After passing the theory exam you have twelve months to take the practical exam. After that, the theory exam would have to be repeated.
What happens if I fail an exam?
No need to worry: you can repeat the exam after two weeks at the earliest. We prepare you specifically for the second attempt and practise exactly the topics that are still uncertain.
