Extension of class B for heavy trailers. Ideal for caravans, horse or boat trailers beyond the class B limits.

Class A
Motorcycles without power restriction. Direct entry from 24, or upgrade from A2 after two years from age 20. From 21 there is also the A80 route: you take the test on the full-power machine, ride it restricted for two years, and it then opens up with no further test.

125 cc on a class B licence
Class B196
Ride a 125 on your existing car licence - with no test at all. Four double lessons of theory and five of riding, then we add code 196 to your licence. Valid in Germany only.

- 4 × 90 minutes theory, 5 × 90 minutes riding
